The Grand Hôtel in Stockholm has been home to celebrities, high-profile events and everyday bon-vivants since 1874. Situated in the best waterfront location imaginable, the hotel overlooks the Royal Palace and Gamla Stan, Stockholm’s old town. Single room
There‘s no such thing as a standard room at the Grand Hôtel, and our Single Rooms, from 15 sqm (161 sqf), are no exception. Each room in this category is individually decorated, providing the perfect retreat for the solo traveller. This well-planned space boasts a work desk, an elegant armchair, an incredibly comfy double bed, and stylish soft furnishings and carpeting. Relax, unwind and wake up ready to meet the day in a room with the utmost attention to detail and around the clock service to meet your every need.

The Princess Lilian Suite
The Princess Lilian Suite is the ultimate luxury accommodation in the Nordic Region. Set atop the Grand Hôtel, this breathtaking 360 sqm (3552 sqf) Stockholm pied-à-terre blurs the line between hotel accommodation and residential apartment. Named after Princess Lilian, the suite boasts dazzling panorama views of Stockholm. With two bedrooms, a sitting room, a library, a kitchen, a spa area and an in-suite cinema, this magnificent retreat reflects the style of home that guests would choose to reside in themselves. The living room is planned down to the last detail with a sumptuous sofa group and a dinner table for twelve. And just as the bar trolley is being rolled out for cocktail hour, someone may play a tune on the grand piano. Guests often bring their personal chef, hire one for the evening, or cook themselves in the well-equipped kitchen. The relaxation zone spa promises soothing tranquillity with its deep mosaic soaking tub, massage showers and waterfall, complete with a steam or dry sauna. The Bernadotte Suite
The Grand Hôtel‘s ties to the Swedish Royal Family are many. Escape the everyday in the Bernadotte Suite on the third floor, named after the King‘s uncle Sigvard, who was commissioned to decorate the entire hotel floor in collaboration with Svenskt Tenn. Today, Empire-style fringes and handcrafted wall-paper perfect this exquisitely designed retreat. What has not changed however is the breathtaking views of the Stockholm waterfront and Royal Palace.
With 165 sqm (1776 sqf) of luxury living to enjoy, the Bernadotte Suite has two beautifully furnished bedrooms with sumptuous beds. Then there‘s the sitting room, the perfect space for all sorts of activities or simply curling up on the plush sofa. The dining room, with its hand-painted wall-paper is the suite’s most eye-catching space, with a sizable table for six that is perfect for in-suite dining or meetings. Whatever the weather outside, it is always warm and welcoming in the Bernadotte suite.

Everything from the beautiful curtain fabrics to the Molton Brown toiletries are carefully selected for quality and comfort. The Cadier Bar is a favourite of Champagne-loving Stockholmers and hotel guests looking for the perfect cocktail. In short: a number of Stockholm’s best restaurants, chefs and bartenders are right here at the hotel, which is also evident in our room service.
